	Saab 9-7X - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The Saab 9-7X is a Saab-branded midsize SUV based on General Motors' GM GMT platform, which also includes the Chevrolet TrailBlazer (and for this the 9-7X has been given the nickname "Trollblazer"), GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, and the Isuzu Ascender.
		Although the Saab 9-7X is developed for the North American marked only, the 2006 model is sold in many countries: Bahrain, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Hungary, Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Luxemburg, Oman, Quatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Switzerland, and United Arab Emirates.
		Originally, its place in the Saab lineup was to be taken by the Subaru B9 Tribeca-based Saab 9-6X, but since GM as sold off their Subaru stock, the project has been cancelled.

		The postcard that came in the mail a couple weeks back from Iowa City Saab looked pretty interesting, offering the opportunity to see and drive the new 9-7x.
		In Linear spec, it had the 5.3L V-8 engine, 18" H-rated tires, and all the other goodies that come standard, including xenon headlights OnStar, XM radio, etc. Sticker price is to be something like $36,900 or so for the Linear, plus Saab's already offering incentives of $2,000 on the thing.
		I made the trip over in the 900 convertible at speed, with the additional hope that I'd also be able to get the SRS code cleared (They did that, too, and the SRS light has stayed off since).
