		You are right...but "Sare Jahhan Se Accha" gained almost equal importance.
		Standing up when some lottery ticket seller blurts out sare jahaan se acha doesn't make you any better citizen.Actually,I found it embarassing recently when a crowd of Indians stood up with their hands on their hearts in a bar,when Indian national anthem was played,before the India-Aus world cup final telecast.
		But the first msg sender that "Saare Jahan se achha" is not our National Anthem please..read the whole story carefully..the writer has only said..that national anthem was being played..he didnt mention "saare jahan se achha".

		Personally, I prefer Mohammed Iqbal's "Sare Jahan se Achcha." I find it easiest to understand (after all, the other two are Bengali songs originally), and easier to sing than either of the others.
		Jana gana Mana is not particularly Hindustani either and the references to "Tava shubha ashish maagay" too could be critiqued for smacking of Hindu sentiment.
		I love Saare jahan say achchha - but if the Bankim association condemns VM it can certainly be argued that the Iqbal association condemns 'Saaray jahan say..' too.
