		Musically I would have to rate Sabaton as very traditionally rooted because the song arrangements are spot on and when a band can pull this off it makes for good listening.
		This album has refreshed my senses of how a relative newcomer in the scene should play their music and if "Primo Victoria" is an indication as to the future of the Traditional Metal genre, then I am all for it.
		Sabaton have a huge future should they continue playing great True Metal with interesting concepts in mind and I hope that I will be as pleased with the next offering of this band as I am with "Primo Victoria".

		It's not exactly the typical lyrical subject of a power metal band but Sabaton do not want to be lumped together with the vast majority of bands in the genre.
		I would not go as far as calling them a unique band because they don't offer the well versed music fan anything new but it is a decent attempt at picking the best pieces from the history of traditional metal and adding a modern touch.
		The catchy choruses are either impressive or silly depending on the beholder but Sabaton still need to work on their song writing some more to reach higher.

		As I said before, having finished the sabaton, I was not sure I was totally happy with the toe section and I decided to revise this by continuing the stepped articulation with another pivot plate, so that there are a number of plates descending down to the tip rather than one single piece.
		Rather than edit the main page depicting construction of the sabaton, I thought it preferable to leave it as it is and use this page as an addendum so that the two styles can be compared.
		The first time the sabaton is constructed the cardboard patterns for each successive lame are made as the work progresses.

		Take out all the high range singing, leaving only a proud, deep roar and then bring the bass up as far as it’ll go, take out the antiquated self-references (‘Manowar’s made of steel, not clay’) and put in the occasional slightly-symphonic/keyboard-y moment (for example the eerie beginning to the excellent ‘Wolfpack’).
		I wouldn’t really like to say Sabaton are better than the aforementioned much-appreciated band, for that would be a dangerous road to take.
		All I know is that this record will be in and out of my CD player for a long, long time.

		Interestingly enough - if I understand correctly - the band recorded a release prior to this one titled 'Fist For Fight' which is in the hands of an apparently quite incompetent Italian label who have failed to deliver on their promise to release/promote the album.
		Regardless, SABATON more than do the subject matter justice, treating the listener to roughly an hour of memorable and enjoyable material sure to get fists pumping and heads banging while simultaneously paying homage to the fallen heroes of the greatest conflict of the last century.
		SABATON are obviously one of those bands you can tell are predestined to one day rule the big festival stages alongside the likes of ICED EARTH, EDGUY, and HAMMERFALL amongst others as the reigning elite of the European Power Metal royalty.

		Vocally, there might be a war cry or two, and their singer — whatever his name is (promo copy info is limited) guys and gals — sure sounds like he is in command of his “Panzer Battalion,” which is one of the catchiest and best tracks here.
		With little info, this had to be a run through the songs, and hopefully it made your mouth drool for war (though compliments were kept up to the very end).
		Sabaton is as catchy as Metal comes, something album closer “Metal Machine” proves.

		The band Sabaton with it´s current lineup was formed in Falun, Sweden in 1999 and consisted of old friends who all shared the same visions.
		And in may 2001 Sabaton stood victorious as one of the best unsigned acts in Sweden.

		Luckily, Sabaton are very skilled at what they do, nothing revolutionary, but very good.

		Well, if _Primo Victoria_ is anything to gauge by, it would appear as though the phenomenon is not entirely extinct.
		Not only that, but apparently Sabaton enjoyed songs like "Stonehenge" and "Rock 'n' Roll Creation" so much that they decided to turn their own amps up to eleven and continue the oafish traditions of "England's loudest band".
