		WHILE fishermen in Bulacan province are fervently praying for rains to save their livelihood, fishermen in the town of Sablayan in Occidental Mindoro province, and environmentalists are hoping for the opposite.
		Sablayan residents fear that rain and wind would send thousands of liters of diesel fuel spilling from the scuba cruise ship MV Island Explorer "docked" on the Apo Menor Reef to their fishing grounds just a few kilometers away, according to Gerry Corpuz, spokesperson of the fisherfolk group Pamalakaya.
		The reef is a government-declared restoration area of the protected Apo Reef National Park off the waters of Mindoro.
