		The Irvine Valley College women’s golf team defeated Saddleback in Orange Empire Conference play for the first time in program history Monday at Tijeras Creek in Rancho Santa Margarita.
		The Irvine Valley women’s team also assured itself of a spot in the Southern California Regional playoffs in Santa Barbara on Nov. 8.
		Both Irvine Valley and Saddleback should end the regular season with records of 11-1 in conference play.
