The role of Sai Kung Town as a gateway to the district's recreational outlets will be strengthened, the Town Planning Board says, adding the character of both the town centre and the traditional rural township will be preserved.
The general urban design concept is to create a number of activity nodes along the promenade at Sai Kung Town North, and to encourage the use of public transport and pedestrian circulation between strategic locations.

We left Sai Kung Pier a little bit late and arrived at Leung Shun Wan around 12 where we had a delicious sea food lunch at very reasonable cost, yum yum.
Afterward, some of us enjoyed deserts at a reknown restaurant called 'Moon Kai' in Sai Kung, it's mango pan cake is highly recommended.

It looks like Hong Kong's naturists may have to look elsewhere for a place to strip down and get tanned all over after plans for a nudist beach in Sai Kung were opposed by traditional village leaders.
The proposed resort, which the nudist group claims will attract investment of HK$80 million and improve the indigenous economy, was presented to the Sai Kung District Council last month.
He said people in Sai Kung are generally more conservative than those in urban areas and that the nudist beach would be seen by many as disturbing.

Fong Sai Yuk I&II were the first 2 HK movies I saw, though an accident of video recording meant that I had to wait at least a year to see the beginning of Pt I and the end of Pt II.
She plays her character to perfection, showing a fantastic knack for comedy which I'm not sure she ever got to display in her roles when she was "in her prime" and also kicking ass in.
Fong Sai Yuk is definitely a movie that has a special place in many fans hearts, even though it does have too many mis-fired jokes and rough edges to be called a true masterpiece.
