The Saint Bavo Cathedral (also known as Sint-Baafs Cathedral, or the Dutch Sint Baafskathedraal) is the seat of the diocese of (Port city in northwestern Belgium and industrial center; famous for cloth industry) Ghent.
Interestingly, the church of Saint Bavo was also the site of the baptism of (Click link for more info and facts about Charles V) Charles V.
The cathedral is home to the work of another artist of note: "Saint Bavo enters the Convent at Ghent" by Sir (Prolific Flemish baroque painter; knighted by the English king Charles I (1577-1640)) Peter Paul Rubens.
