		Lucie County is a county located in the state of Florida.
		It was named for Saint Lucie of Syracuse, Roman Catholic saint, born in Sicily, executed in 304 for being a Christian.
		In the county the population is spread out with 22.60% under the age of 18, 6.60% from 18 to 24, 25.10% from 25 to 44, 23.00% from 45 to 64, and 22.70% who are 65 years of age or older.
