There was talk a while ago of England changing its patron saint from St George to St Alban, as Alban was, apparently, English, unlike Georgy Boy.
I think a lot of what was written about history has to be taken with a pinch of salt.It was originally written in Latin or Gaelic and has lost a lot of it's true facts and has become distorted in the translation of it into english.
In later years, she moved to Cerniw to be near her sister, St. Wenna.
