Saklikent is very nice place to visit and get into water and have fun with COLD COLD water, get into the CANYON there.
The only snag is the 10000000 lira entry pass, but that gets you into the beach and ruins and is good for a week.
We explored a lot of the ruins in the area-- loved them!-- but the day trip to Saklikent Gorge was a respite from the heat and a nice change of pace...here's a quote from my travel writeup from the trip:
