Sale of the Century is an international television game show format that has screened in several countries in various incarnations since 1969, but is most reknown in Australia, where it aired for 21 years and has returned under a new title, Temptation, in mid-2005.
Sale was also one of seven game shows played on Ant and Dec's Gameshow Marathon, on the episode aired 8 October 2005.
If there was a final tie, the tied players answered a tiebreaker "Who am I" question, where a correct answer from either contestant won the game, while an incorrect answer defeated the contestant in favor of his or her opponent.

 Reg Grundy to address UQ Faculty of Arts grads - UQ News Online - The University of Queensland
By the late 1970s, Mr Grundy's company, now known as the Grundy Organisation, had purchased game show formats including the enduring Sale of the Century and had developed dramas including Prisoner, The Young Doctors, The Restless Years, Sons and Daughters and Neighbours.
After developing a radio game show, Wheel of Fortune, later transferred to television (1959), Mr Grundy began to adapt American programs such as Concentration and Say When for the Australian television market.
Mr Grundy, who will also address arts graduands at today's ceremony, is one of an interesting line-up of guest speakers for this year's July graduation ceremonies to be held in the UQ Centre on July 20, 21 and 23.
