Th University has an annual fund of £300 for each of its Associate Colleges which is used to fund the University of Salford Progression Awards.
This sum is to be used for awards to students progressing from feeder schools for their performance at level 2 (GCSE equivalent) and for that award to be presented at the College Awards events or at ceremonies held at the feeder schools.
A University of Salford Certificate is also presented along with the cheque at the College Awards evening usually by a senior member of the University staff.
