	Sam Browne Belt. A full history and a controversy
		Sam Browne belts are a combination of a pistol belt or garrison belt and a shoulder strap (and D-rings).
		The belt plate, 2-1/2" square, is of silvered brass, slightly convex in form, and has on its face a spread eagle with shield on breast, surmounted by a scroll with the motto, "E. Pluribus Unum".
		Browne led the 2nd Punjab in several engagements, and was decorated for action during the Bozdar Expedition in 1857, being promoted to captain.
