	Pudgalavada Buddhist Philosophy [Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy]
		The Pudgalavada was a group of five of the Early Schools of Buddhism, distinguished from the other schools by their doctrine of the reality of the self.
		Since the date of the Buddha’s death was probably in about 486 BCE or 368 BCE (according to which sources one follows), the rise of the Vatsiputriya school would have been in the early third century or toward the middle of the second century BCE.
		The Vatsiputriya and a branch of the Sammitiya survived in India at least until the tenth century, but since the Pudgalavadin schools never spread to any great extent beyond the subcontinent, when Buddhism died out in India, the tradition of the Pudgalavada came to an end.

		Thời kỳ thứ hai : Truyền thống Chính Lượng Bộ (Sammitiya) của luận sư Bhavya xếp phái Haimavata trong nhóm Trưởng Lão Bộ (Sthavira), và coi Thuyết Nhân Bộ (Hetuvadin) là Nhất thiết Hữu Bộ (Sarvastivadin).
		Nhóm IV: Chính Lượng Bộ (Sammitiya), bao gồm Kê Dẫn Bộ (Kaurukullaka), Avantaka, và Ðộc Tử Bộ.

		Truyền thống Pali cũng như truyền thống Sanskrit đều cho rằng phái Sammitiya xuất hiện vào thế kỷ thứ ba trước Tây-lịch.
		Văn bản thế kỷ thứ hai là văn bản khắc trên tảng đá thứ năm của Mathura nói về việc đặt một bức tượng Bồ Tát được dâng cúng cho các tăng sĩ Sammitiya thuộc tu viện Sirivihara bởi một tăng sĩ có vị thầy tên là Dharmaka.
		Văn bản thứ hai nói tới phái Sammitiyas được tìm thấy ở Sarnarth và được khắc trên trụ đá của vua Asoka, ở bên dưới sắc chỉ của nhà vua và một văn bản khác.
