		So did this year, 2007, when the throbbing microcosm of the College of Education in Samtse paid its unmixed homage to both the fathers - the late Druk Gyalpo of modern Bhutan and teachers of the nation in the making.
		The present Samtse College of Education was called the Teacher Training Institute and was inaugurated by our beloved late king, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuk on 29th May 1968, i.e., 39 years back.
		It was upgraded to the National Institute of Education in 1984, and in 2006 it was renamed Samtse College of Education.

	Samtse - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Samtse (older spelling Samchi), is one of the 20 dzongkhag (districts) comprising Bhutan.
		Overall the district population has recently been increasing, and there presently is a housing shortage in Samtse as reported by Kuensel.
		Samtse is the site of one of the two campuses of the National Institute of Education, a college for teachers which is part of the Royal University of Bhutan system.

	Kuensel Newspaper - Samtse gets a new court
		It is the second court to be built in the country that meets international standards and is seen as a model court building, according to the project manager for the court construction, Paro Drangpon Lungten Drubgyur.
		According to court officials the new court in Samtse would bring about greater professionalism by providing the space and facilities required to properly dispense justice.
		So far the court was operating in overcrowded rooms in the dzong, which was shared with the dzongkhag administration.
