I could clearly identify not only Samuel Smith’s, but 100’s of brands and styles of Ale and Beer easily in a blind taste test.
The problem however is this, even though I can identify the style or brewer of a particular product, I cannot for the life of me come up with a coherent description of it to someone who has never tasted it before.
Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal stout is a very dark brew which nicely retains it’s creamy head.
