		Your character's class is somewhat his job as opposed to his race.
		In Original Dungeons & Dragons for demi-humans, their race was their class; in later versions of the game, demi-humans were treated just like humans in that their race and their class were separate.
		The original game did not have anything resembling a class system; however, in many later games, the characters are assigned to classes, even if it is not possible to create new characters.
