  San Jose Earthquakes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The San Jose Earthquakes was a professional soccer club located in San Jose, California that participated in Major League Soccer from 1996 to 2005.
The last owner of the San Jose Earthquakes, Anschutz Entertainment Group, announced on December 15, 2005 that the team was moving to Houston for the 2006 season.
The San Jose Earthquakes logo and wordmark were created by Terry Smith Creations (official website), the same Sunnyvale, California based graphic design company that created the logos for the San Jose Sharks, the San Jose SaberCats and the San Jose Stealth, among many other clients.
