San Juan County is a county located in the state of Washington, comprised of the San Juan Islands.
In the county, the population is spread out with 19.10% under the age of 18, 4.50% from 18 to 24, 21.70% from 25 to 44, 35.70% from 45 to 64, and 19.00% who are 65 years of age or older.
The San Juan Islands were disputed territory between England and the United States from 1846-1872, leading to the Pig War in 1859.
