As the object went past over town, I saw that it was oval in shape, radiating a beautiful yellow-green glow and what seemed like a bright red light on top of the oval shape.
The need for more doctors and nurses on practice in San Pedro is desperately wanted, especially when there have been several cases of persons wanting emergency medical attention and nobody available to aid these unfortunate people.
The building of the new San Pedro Lions Inter-Community Hospital was set back by Hurricane Keith, but construction is still going on at the moment and in the next six months, if everything continues as scheduled, our town will have its new 24 hour medical facility.

According to Town Administrator Alberto Villanueva, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is providing funds of $500,000 U.S. to be used in San Pedro, Caye-Caulker, and Lamanai for the re-vegetation or "greenery" of the areas due to the damage caused by Hurricane Keith.
The San Pedro Town Council and people of San Pedro extend their gratitude to the students and all those involved with the project.
What caused the entire thrill in San Pedro was that more than one third of the movie was filmed at various spots on the island including the famous Mosquito Coast Park where the hurricane scene for the movie "The Mosquito Coast" was also filmed.
