		In questi anni, finalmente Venezia puÃ² celebrare il ritorno alla mostra del cinema americano, che si presenta con nuovi registi: Elia Kazan, Billy Wilder, Samuel Fuller, Robert Aldrich.
		Le agitazioni sociali e politiche del 1968 ebbero forti ripercussioni anche sulla Biennale di Venezia, retta ancora dallo statuto di epoca fascista, e di conseguenza anche sulla mostra del cinema, da questa dipendente, che subÃ¬ pesanti e continue contestazioni, portando a rompere con la tradizione secondo le linee di pensiero dell'epoca.

		The Chiesa di San Rocco (Church of St Roch) in Venice was built between 1489 and 1508 by Bartolomeo Bon the Younger, but was substantially altered in 1725.
		The neighbouring Scuola di San Rocco was founded in the 15th century as a confraternity to assist the citizens in time of plague.
		St Roch, whose relics rest in the church, was declared a patron saint of the city in 1576 and every year, on his feast day (16 July), the Doge made a pilgrimage to the church.
