 | | From 1996 to 1999 Dr Sandland was Chief of CSIRO Mathematical and Information Sciences, a research division of CSIRO whose activities include mathematical modelling of industrial processes, image analysis, industrial applications of statistics, scheduling and optimisation, multimedia information systems, software engineering, text-based information management, electronic commerce, spatial information systems and high performance computing. |
