Blue pottery is believed to have been manufactured at Siraf in Iran and at Basra in Iraq in the seventh and eighth centuries and was in use till the 11th century in many Asian countries when the preference for blue was possibly replaced by the pale green of celadon pottery.
At one of the sites is buried a Tower of Silence, a circular structure where the dead were left for vultures, based on the belief that the birds would destroy microbes and prevent water and soil pollution.

Yep Sanchin (Sanjan) is a very important form/dance, and seems to be the connecting tissue of the Oriental martial arts.
I have found the Breathing cycle within all the Sanjan similar, in through the nose and out through the mouth, the subtle diffrences are internal, the focus of tension within the body seems to be the important aspect when performing sanjan.
