 | | The Saoi Program of Waynesville Middle School is a program designed to address the needs of 8th grade students whose learning styles differ from those of the traditional classroom. |
 | | Tapping into the Scotch-Irish roots of Western North Carolina, Saoi is a Gaelic word meaning wisdom, scholar, learner, etc...The learning in the Saoi program is often student directed and employees a variety of experiential methods involving not only the school community, but the global community as well. |
