Saoul Mamby (born 1947) was a professional boxer from 1969 to 2000.
Mamby became interested in boxing while on vacation in Jamaica and compiled an amateur record of 25-5 before turning pro in 1969.
Other names Mamby has fought include Roberto Duran (losing by points in a non-title affair in 1976) and Saengsak Muangsurin (losing a 15-round decision in Thailand in 1977 in an attempt to win Muangsurin's title, the same WBC 140-lb.

I can comment on the Mamby - Pryor part, the bout was never that highly sought as Mamby was seen to have no real chance, even before the Arguello bouts.
Mamby wouldn't fare too well in these days of PPV; I'd tell you he perfected the art of winning ugly if he always won, but he could be outhustled.
Mamby was one of my favorite fighters in the '80s.
