		Sara was born in the Malee district of Victoria (her family are wheat farmers) and studied teaching in Melbourne before setting off on a journey that took her to the Northern Territory via Camooweal (where she flipped burgers to get some money together) and met the man who would change her destiny.
		Sara was back in Kalkaringi by then, but ABC signed her on the spot and released "Chasing Buffalo" in September 2000.
		Sara visited Tamworth prior to the Festival, giving a lecture to the students at the CMAA College Of Country Music where she was a student just three years ago.
