Sri Sarada Devi (1853-1920) was the wife of Sri Ramakrishna.
Sarada Devi was born in 1853 in a small village near Calcutta, quite close to where Ramakrishna was born.
Sarada Devi had participated in the Sadhana of Ramakrishna and through the Shadosi Puja had become one with his spiritual realisation. Swami Vivekananda always held Sarada Devi in the highest regard.

Sri Saradamani Devi (the Holy Mother) was born on the 22nd December,1853, in the village of Jayarambati in the district of Bankura, three miles to the west of Kamarpukur where Sri Ramakrishna had already taken his birth in 1836.
