	Weapon X: The Draft - Sauron
		Sauron is duly sent off on "can't win" missions as the Director torments him for no discernible reason.
		There are some genuinely funny moments as Sauron attempts to achieve the impossible, and Karl Kerschl's artwork is very pleasant on the eye.
		The mutant that Sauron succeeds in recruiting is quite a likeable character, although he rounds off the story with a seriously melodramatic closing scene.

		To that Sauron would not consent, and he remained in Middle-earth when Eonwe returned into the West.
		It is unlikely that Sauron "slept" in the sense that the Balrog seems to have curled up under a conveniently huge mountain and dreamed of past debaucheries for the next several thousand years.
		More likely, Sauron retreated into far eastern Middle-earth and there he could have done anything, such as plant a garden or found a monastery to teach ancient Elves, Dwarves, and Men the Way of Peace.

		Sauron flew all the way to his father's cabin in Tierra del Fuego, and then reverted to human form, having expended the mutant energies he had absorbed.
		In his current condition Sauron appears to be incapable of reverting to human form, even when his energies are depleted.
		Special limitations: Sauron has to absorb the life energies from living victims to sustain his life; he would normally revert to human form if he did not regularly absorb the life force from superhuman beings, although this is not currently the case.

		After knocking off one of Jack's hands, Sauron finally calmed Jack by explaining to him that the apparent attack was merely a recruitment mission for Weapon X. Excited to be joining up with a super-team "like the Great Lakes Avengers," Jack went to a local bank to tell his girlfriend Meredith goodbye.
		Sauron, who was hardly in his right mind throughout the entire Weapon X series, was confused by this request, and began to strike at Jack angrily.

		In stark contrast, D.C. Comics has no such policy and though Jack did far less work for D.C. Comics, royalties are regularly paid to Jack Kirby’s family and will continue.
		No such repressive tactics exist at D.C. These checks, for Batman, not only to Neal, of course, stand out in sharp contrast to the case of Dave Cockrum at Marvel who clearly and admittedly created 5 X-Men characters but is only being paid royalties for one.

		Supposedly, when Electro was paid to orchestrate the massive prison break from issue #1, the one that set eighty-seven super criminals free from the Raft, Sauron was Electros’ primary target.
		Missing from our team are Sentry, who apparently is back in prison for murdering his wife (more on that later, we’re promised by the fan sites), and Wolverine, who made a cameo appearance at the end of last issue.
		Garth Ennis wrote one of the most influential and epic comic series of the nineties, “Preacher”, which is one of my favorite comic epics, ever.
