Some say that this club go this name from the fact that the club was a mix where Europeans and egyptians would meet.
Some also say that the club was initially built for the Belgian community in face of the British existence as well as the Egyptian.
He has spoiled the handball team, that all the players were going to leave the club, and the football team had its worst position in the league throughout its entire history(which was the sixth) due to the problems in management of the club which have been created by Mortada.

Ahmed is not only accused of terrorist crimes in Italy and of having links to cells across Europe, but he also is considered one of the masterminds of the March 11, 2004, train bombings in Madrid that killed 191 people and wounded more than 1,600.
Guido Guella, Ahmed's lawyer, said his client maintains his innocence and claims he "never had any role in any association with terrorist aims." He said the Egyptian also says he is not the person speaking on the tapes.
