Scanlines is an installation that displays fragments of a 2.5 x 3 meter "virtual" satellite view of the Grand Canyon.
In Scanlines, the point of view is perpendicular to the horizon, not from a plane but from space like the "gaze of God." Unlike Ansel Adams images or Romantic paintings of the 19th century, the landscape is not seen from the inside, thus acknowledging a shift in the idea of the Sublime and the Natural.

I recently bought a gba sp and have noticed that while playing games, when the background scrolls vertically (either up or down) it shows a scanline type effect, but as soon as the scrolling stops the effect dissapears.

This is my fourth one as the "scanlines" one was a replacement for one that had a faulty spring in the A button.
