		Musically speaking though, all band members are acquainted with the classical but prefer contemporary grooves and the organic nature of machine driven sounds.
		However guitar oriented, the Scaramangas mix a unique blend of harmonics and sway towards lyrics of an English nature.
		We came together in the spring of 1999 and then we officially became the Scaramangas in November 2000.

		The Scaramangas played a lot of new material such as, "Give me a Bone", which we suspect will be another hit for the band.
		Flannelmouth also, performed new material such as "(What a) Comeback" and "Bravado", two tracks to be released on vinyl this spring 2004.
		The combination of Flannelmouth and The Scaramangas was a delightful mix consumed by their faithful following.

		His band The Scaramangas had a gig the next day in Factory, a small club in Helsinki.
		The Scaramangas also played a really good set (the professional attitude, they even had a Rhodes) and the evening ended with DJ Pelttari and friends entertaining the crowd with some top tunes.

		The title of the album or the release date are unknown as yet – watch this space for news on how the project is progressing!
		The first chance to spot Mummypowder live with Aleksi Mänttäri on bass will be in Vernissa, Tikkurila on 18th May. Other bands are The Scaramangas, Ultrasport and Kevin.
		Mummypowder are this month's featured band at www.soundi.fi with a demo version of a new song, Don't Hold Your Breath, which will appear on Mummypowder's third album.
