  Scarface First Look - PlayStation 2 News at GameSpot
Scarface, the game, will actually start off during the climactic final scene of the film, in which Tony is holed up in his office with rival drug lord Sosa's agents amassing outside his door.
Scarface unfortunately wasn't playable at VU's GDC showcase, but we did get to see a new trailer for the game that showed off a few short snippets of gameplay in which Tony (decked out in a traditional Hawaiian shirt) shot and drove his way through the crime-addled streets of Miami.
Scarface is due for release in the fall of this year, and we'll bring you more on the game as it happens.

Directed by Howard Hawks, Scarface was based on a novel by Armitage Trail, which in turn was based on the life of famed gangster Al Capone (who had his own copy of the film).
Scarface, however, was so violent that began its wrangles with the censors even before its release - it was actually ready for the screen in 1930 but was held up for two years the recent disapproval of the Two Warner movies making the process even more difficult.

Made with a purpose in 1932, take into consideration for example the complete title; 'Scarface: The Shame Of A Nation' and the beginning credits that ask you 'what are you going to do about it?', very straightforward but navet aside this is one of the best gangster films of all time.
The camera pans to Gaffney's bowling ball knocking down all the pins which is a strike, and one of the many examples of the "X" being used to indicate a murder being committed throughout the film.
As you watch this original "Scarface" though you'll notice small roles for George Raft, as a friend of Tony's and Boris Korloff as a rival.
