Schlossplatz (in English, "Palace Square") is a square in the centre of (Capital of Germany located in eastern Germany) Berlin in (A republic in central Europe; split into East German and West Germany after World War II and reunited in 1990) Germany.
In 1994 the old name Schlossplatz was restored.
The Palast der Republik is scheduled to be destroyed in 2005-06.

The historic Neptunbrunnen fountain was originally located on the Schlossplatz in front of the Palace.
