Additional scholia not found in Vinet come indeed from Montpellier 125 (only on a few lines though) or are to be interpreted as conjectures by the French scholars.
This may indeed mean that the early creators of this set of scholia got increasingly tired of adding their own contributions to a basic material that is mostly identical to the A tradition (p.

However, the analysis also requires expertise in rhetorical theory: the scholia concentrate on rhetorical exegesis, using the complex apparatus of issue-theory to analyse large-scale structures of exposition and argument; hence identifying mutually incompatible but internally consistent rhetorical analyses provides a powerful criterion for differentiating sources.
Some Menandrian material in the scholia seems to originate in lectures to advanced students; inferences are possible about the students’ prior knowledge and the lecturer’s objectives and teaching methods.

For what I was primarily intrigued by was not the Aristotelian text, which occupies the middle of the folios of this manuscript, but the scholia which we find in the margins and between the lines of Aristotle’s text.
And there is no doubt that many of these scholia are very important for the study of the history of logic.
It seems reasonable to me that, since the main scholia of the Prior and Posterior Analytics are by Philoponus, and thus available to the main scribe of this manuscript, the main scholia on the On Interpretation could also be by the same commentator.

The study of the Iliadic scholia is a significant ongoing research topic in Homeric scholarship.
The A scholia, for which Venetus A is by far the most important source, derive from the so-called "VMK" (Viermännerkommentar, "four-man commentary"), named for the four ancient scholars Aristonicus, Didymus, Herodian, and Nicanor.
The A and B scholia were a catalyst for several new ideas from the scholar Friedrich August Wolf.

Dozens of fragments of ancient glossaries to the Homeric poems — so-called Scholia Minora in Homerum — have been found in Egypt, and most of the world’s important papyrological collections possess at least one, if not several specimens.
They range from lists of words, chosen from a particular passage of the Iliad or Odyssey and jotted down on a separate sheet of papyrus, to professionally produced rolls or codices pertaining to one or more books of the poems.
Whoever wishes to know whether a given Homeric word is in fact glossed in one of these texts, where it is glossed and how, must first track down the various publications and then read through each in search of what they are after.
