Citrus: School's ties to league explored
The Dixie League is a private league separate from the school, but last year nearly all the players on the Dixie Team, which is also called the Pirates, were Hall's high school players.
A subsequent report showed that, to ensure equity, CRHS principal Steven Myers instructed the school's softball coach to nearly double the number of students she was taking to Orlando, which created a shortfall in the softball booster account.
While other teachers have already been reappointed for next school year and other principals are set for reappointment today, recommendations on the reappointment of Hall and Myers are on hold until the conclusion of the inquiries.

Like cricket and parliamentary democracy, this public school, which imparts education in the English language and way of life, is an enduring mark of colonial British domination of the South Asian subcontinent.

 SPLICEDwire | "School Ties" review
Becuase of the setting "School Ties" has quite a few built in cliches to overcome, but it does it well.
Opening in the hero's home town as he is about to leave for school, the film immediately introduces its time setting with the most recognizable '50s stereotype, rebel guys in their rolled up T-shirts and greasy pompadours.
When Fraser arrives at school other stereotypes show up, the nerd, the cruel teacher, and the student pressured by his parents, but are all well acted and enough of an alteration from the stock character that it makes no difference that we've seen them all before.
