April 11, 2005: Purdue's schools of pharmacy and management are offering a dual degree combining the doctor of pharmacy and master's of science in industrial administration, a one-year equivalent to the MBA.
Five to 10 high-achieving students from the six-year Robert Heine School of Pharmacy program with an interest in management will be chosen each year to take classes in the Krannert School of Management program concurrently with their pharmacy classes.
The titles of Distinguished Pharmacy Alumnus or Alumna and Friend of Pharmacy are conferred upon Purdue University alumni and friends in recognition of their outstanding achievements in professional and scientific endeavors.
