 | | We have high standards for preparing and licensing teachers, a well-developed set of standards for school children's achievement, a testing and accountability system associated with achievement standards, a large percentage of teachers in teaching assignments specific to their fields of preparation, and, in comparison to other states, high levels of student achievement. |
