NEP science and power platform of the ISS
The concept of the Science and Power Platform, NEP, originated in the Mir-2 project, where a special truss was designed to carry an array of solar panels, power-generating concentrators, radiators and scientific payloads.
This change would greatly facilitate the integration of the platform into the ISS, since no orbital tug would be required to maneuver NEP from the initial orbit to a rendezvous and docking with the station.
The NEP platform is now expected to be launched along with the Enterprise module on the same Shuttle mission (9A1).

Spacecraft electrical power is supplied by Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators (RTGs) that provided approximately 470 w of 30 volt DC power at launch.
At the beginning of 2001, the power generated by Voyager 1 had dropped to 315 w and to 319 w for Voyager 2.
As the electrical power becomes less and less, power loads on the spacecraft must be turned off in order to avoid having demand exceed supply.

Study in computer science can range from mathematical work aimed at understanding the theoretical and practical limits of what can be computed, to experimental work aimed at understanding the functioning of existing computing languages and systems, to design work aimed at building algorithms and computer systems that help people solve problems.
In the era of the Internet, however, geography for the computer science student is becoming less relevant than the links he or she has to the universe of computer networks, and students at Trinity have that universe right at their fingertips.

Seismology is the science that studies earthquakes and phenomena connected with them.
As a rough guide, the earthquake is a vibration of the ground tangible in a definite place; the stronger these vibrations are, the more damage an earthquake can cause.
Seismology studies these areas together with geology, in which during the late nineteenth century arose the special theory (plate tectonics) which explains a set of phenomena, in particular the occurrence of active seismic zones and non-active zones (platform regions).
