Scott County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas.
Scott County is Arkansas' 28th county, formed on November 15, 1833 and named for Andrew Scott, a justice of the Supreme Court of the Arkansas Territory.
In the county the population was spread out with 26.50% under the age of 18, 8.10% from 18 to 24, 26.50% from 25 to 44, 24.20% from 45 to 64, and 14.70% who were 65 years of age or older.
