		In the county the population is spread out with 25.90% under the age of 18, 8.40% from 18 to 24, 25.40% from 25 to 44, 23.00% from 45 to 64, and 17.20% who are 65 years of age or older.

		Scotts Bluff National Monument is located in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, about 20 miles east of the Wyoming state line, in what is commonly called the "Panhandle of Nebraska." The Monument itself contains some 3,450 acres of land of which about 2,200 acres are federally owned.
		Scotts Bluff stands apart from these bluffs to form one of the dominant features of this valley.
