| | National Scout Jamboree Contingent Information |
 | | The 2005 National Scout Jamboree will be held July 25 through August 5, 2005 at Fort A. Hill, near Fredericksburg, Virginia, in the historic area of Washington D.C. With pre-jamboree touring in the Washington D.C. area, our contingent trip will be from commence five days prior to the Jamboree. |
 | | Scouts will participate and demonstrate skills such as archery, orienteering, running obstacle courses, shotgun shooting, boating, canoeing, and hunting safety, as well as take part in the disabilities awareness trail, competitive events, the Merit Badge Midway, and an arts and science fair. |
 | | The Jamboree is being planned for about 35,000 participants—30,400 Scouts and leaders in 760 troops plus some 5,000 staff members for support, program, and headquarters services with four regional camping areas and 19 subcamps. |
