 USSSP: World Scouting
The Chief Okemos Council invites patrols of Scouts and Venturers from Michigan, from other states, and from other countries to participate in the July 27 to August 3, 2008, Michigan International Camporee (MIC) at Northwoods Scout Reservation, northeast of West Branch, Michigan.
Irish Scouting began in 1908, so Scouting Ireland will hold a National Jamboree one year from now, August 2 through 10, 2008, to celebrate their 100th anniversary.
It is a real Jamboree during which Scouting experiences are exchanged and ideas are shared, thus contributing to the world brotherhood of Scouting.

 Radio Scouting - UK
West Lancashire Scouts will be in Renland East Greenland for 4 weeks from late July and will have Amateur Radio capbility.
Our object was to get GB2GP up and running for the UK Saturday morning Scout net and then continue through out the day for the benefit of Scouts around the country wanting to have a qso with the HQ station.
Barbara and I arrived at Gilwell Park in plenty of time and were all set up (or so we thought) with about 10 minuets to spare.
