In December she was part of the escort as President of the United States Woodrow Wilson arrived in France, departing December 14 for New York City and winter fleet exercises in Cuban waters.
She returned to Brest on 15 June 1919 to escort President Wilson in George Washington home from his second visit to France, returning to New York on 8 July.
Joining the Scouting Fleet in early 1927, Oklahoma continued intensive exercises during that summer's Midshipmen Cruise, voyaging to the East Coast to embark midshipmen, carrying them through the Panama Canal to San Francisco, California, and returning by the way of Cuba and Haiti.

 USS Chester (CA-27)
Following an overhaul at New York Navy Yard during which she was equipped with two catapults amidships, Chester stood out of Hampton Roads 31 July 1932 with planes and ammunition for the west coast.
Departing San Pedro 9 April 1934 as flagship of Commander, Special Service Squadron, she arrived in New York 31 May for that day's Presidential Naval Review, returning to San Pedro 9 November.
She joined the Scouting Fleet as flagship for Commander, Light Cruiser Divisions and on 6 March 1931 embarked the Secretary of the Navy for the Canal Zone where he observed the annual Fleet problem from Texas (BB-35).

 Tenders - USS Argonne AS 10
She operated with the fleet at New York, Newport, and Hampton Roads until 26 May, when she then set course for Panama and back to San Diego, arriving at the latter port on 19 June.
She then steamed north with the fleet as it called at New York City, arriving on 2 June to be reviewed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Arriving at Balboa on 29 January, the assembled fleet conducted its concentration based on Panama Bay before setting course back to San Diego on 11 March, and ultimately arriving back in their usual operating areas on the 22d.

The 60-strong band of St. Michael's Catholic Scout Unit, made up of scouts ranging in age from 11 to 20, is based in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh.

The first Twiggs (Destroyer No. 127) was laid down on 23 January 1918 at Camden, N.J., by the New York Shipbuilding Corp., launched on 28 September 1918 sponsored by Miss Lillie S. Getchell, the granddaughter of Major Twiggs; and commissioned at the Philadelphia Navy Yard on 28 July 1919, Comdr.
At the end of the exercises on 25 March 1931, Twiggs was reassigned to the Scouting Fleet, soon to be redesignated the Scouting Force as a result of the Fleet Reorganization of 1 April 1931.
Early in February 1931 she headed south from San Francisco with the Battle Fleet to participate in the annual Fleet concentration with the Scouting Fleet.

It worked out well, as when the TEXAS joined the Battle Fleet in Seattle Harbor in the summer of 1930, I was able to manage a transfer to the USS NEW YORK which turned out to be a fine ship.
Afterwards, towards the mid-30s the Scouting Fleet was transferred to the West Coast and re-designated as the Scouting Force and the Battle Fleet, then became the Battle Force.
At that time, the main US Fleets were the Battle Fleet, consisting of BBs, CVs, and SS and based in the San Pedro, Lon Beach, San Diego areas; on the East Coast was the Scouting Fleet, consisting of CLs, CAs, DDs, SS, and three OBBs, the ARKANSAS, WYOMING, and TEXAS.

Nanuet's Boy Scout Troop 33 has over 80 years of scouting history.  Given the fact that the Boy Scouts is 94 years old, Nanuet has a long tradition within the Boy Scouts of America.
When he retired in 1943, Dr. West was recognized throughout the country as the true architect of the Boy Scouts of America.
Today 25 boys are active members with the troop.  Troop 33 has produced 45 Eagle Scouts in 80 years.

Granted, the Yanks did lose the first game of the series they were able to come back the next day on the arm of Mike Mussina who was able to pitch a complete game with a 5-0 win over the Oakland A's.
