Performing Arts is designed as a rigorous introduction to both theater arts and performing arts.
Theater Arts I: is designed for beginning students who are serious enough about developing their acting skills that they wish to pursue a course of study in acting at the high school.
Theater Arts II is an advanced level theater course, designed for students who have had previous training or experience in either theater, film or television, and plan on continuing this training at the high school and college level.

Having that afternoon walked through the Walker Art Center’s new facility with its gallery after gallery of quizzical conceptualism, elliptical personal signs and symbols, images that confounded, curiosities and riddles that inspired, I was offended to think that my brand of performing arts could be held to a different standard.
The camera then followed the performers as they retreated back stage and into their supposed 'real lives' which we discover to be filled with other kinds, or varieties of 'grief'.
They– all six actors– were tossed out onto such a stream of life especially after the first half (staged) performance when they went "backstage" on film–(a screen descended majestically– deus ex etc.–right in the middle of the set) and we saw them get into the gear of their nightly personas.
