  Anime Tempy
On the surface it resembles an anime X-men, but in reality the show is all about the two leads and their opposing wills tearing them both apart and drawing them to fight each other, and everyone else who stands in their way.
The show is pure action, which is not to say that there is no character interaction or development, but much of the development is done while fighting.
In the end, sCRYed is pretty much a character study of the two leads, Kazuma and Ryuho, the only reason it's a shounen fighting anime is because they chose to do a character study on two people caught in a struggle between two different ideals and they can both fight really well.

  SCRYED
I have chosen to use “Scryed” because it is the simplest form of the name, but you may see it written differently in some places.
Scryed is predicated on the gimmick that certain individuals born in the Lost Ground have the ability to access and manipulate energy from an extradimensional realm, which allows them to manifest powers whose forms are dependant on the psyche of the individual.
Scryed is also highlighted by a sometimes-jazzy, sometimes-driving musical score that effectively sets the tone throughout.

Scryed is a weird named anime but cool none the less.
Scryed was an anime that caught on quickly with me. The plot was easy to follow for the most part, and it had a lot of change throughout the series that kept the plot from going stale, like some animes tend to after a while.
That is how Scryed turns out to be: when you have nothing else to tell about, a last punch will probably suffice to end the story.

Having been told that Scryed is “Dragonball with better graphics”, I approached it with apprehension, expecting much mindless fighting with little plot.
I am glad such negative expectations were not met and would commend Scryed as a plot driven action anime that kept me hungering for the next episode every time one ended.
However, I must say Scryed did borrow a lot of elements from X-men after all, the premise is fairly similar.
