Kananook is the name of a railway station in Melbourne, Australia, operated by Connex.
On July 11, 1990, Sarah MacDiarmid, aged 23 disappeared from Kananook Station, last seen walking out to her car parked in the station carpark.
Since then, Kananook has been notourious for being an unstaffed station with poor facilities and security, and has been avoided by many members of the general public.

Frankston taxis have taxi ranks outside Seaford Railway Station and Frankston railway stations, at Karingal Hub outside the Commonwealth Bank, Bayside arcade in Beach St. and a "Safe Rank" in Davey St. almost opposite centrelink.
Although this is very time efficient it may only be used for immediate bookings, if the destination is a local one, and if the passenger requires a 4-5 seater sedan vehicle and not a station wagon or Wheelchair Accessable Vehicle..
