		I have been considering getting a surgical seam ripper because they work so much better on serger seams, but I dont think that would be a good idea for me considering what I've done to my hands just with a dull dollar store seam ripper.
		I was recently taught a new use for the seam ripper - turns out it's the perfect tool for cutting away stray yarn/thread/dental floss/hair that gets wrapped around the vacuum cleaner's beater bar.
		My new vacuum actually came with a mini seam ripper just for that purpose, and when I expounded to my mom on how great it was, her reaction was: "What have you been using all this time?"
