 Wica explained
Raymond Buckland also used this spelling when he named his own tradition of Seax-Wica.
'''Wica''' was the original spelling used by Gerald Gardner to refer to the supposed pre-Christian religion of witchcraft.

wicca - Article and Reference from OnPedia.com
The spelling "Wicca" is now used almost exclusively, (Seax-Wica being the only major use of the four-letter spelling).
Gerald Gardner is credited with re-introducing the word into the English language, although he himself used the spelling Wica repeatedly in his published work of 1954.
Since its founding, various related Wiccan traditions have evolved, the original being Gardnerian Wicca, which is the name of the tradition that follows the specific beliefs and practices established by Gerald Gardner.

OccultForums.com - How do you know if your ready to initiate yourself?
Seax wicca isn't really wicca, it was started by Raymond Buckland as a seperate path so he did not break his gardnerian oaths.
Although there are some people who consider Seax Wicca to be a valid form of Wicca, there are others who believe that Seax-Wicca was simply a nasty practical joke on Buckland's part, to get rid of all the people who were writing to him asking for initiation.
If you self dedicate yourself into seax wicca you won't be recognised by the wiccan community as one of them.

The funniest thing about Seax Wica is the Pictish "alphabet" Bucky presents in Buckland's Big Blue Book of Shit.
Anyways, went off and warlocked and helped expose Wicca through his crappy-ass "Seax Wica" which he pulled from his ass, obviously.
Come on now, a little research would -SHOW- you that the Picts didn't have a written alphabet, and existed for a VERY short amount of time (too short to draw a tradition from especially).
