Pastoral ministry in the dimension of liturgical functions varies according to what is possible and practicable from one locale to another, as communities are prepared and educated to renewal in worship and prayer.
Women in pastoral ministry are advantageously placed to foster the growth in consciousness of those many Christian women who neither discern a call nor acknowledge within themselves the charism for a service in the Church beyond the limits (and extents) of their own family, be that lay or religious.
