 Statute of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania
The Statutes of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the third edition of which was published in 1588, were written in Belarusian, and were the first full code of laws written in Europe since Roman Law.
The Statute was a comprehensive and elaborate state code of laws on state, civil, criminal and procedural rules of the Grand Duchy, which had the highest legal force on the territory of the country.
The Vice Chancellor of Grand Duchy of Lithuania Leu Sapega was the soul of the third revision of Statut.

The pre-war Lithuanian notariate was destroyed during the sovietisation of Lithuania in 1940.
A meeting of notaries of the Republic of Lithuania approved the statute of Notary Houses, and elected the Presidium, Inspection Committee and Court of Honour of Notary Houses on 12 February 1993.

 Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court - Ratifications
The Statute was adopted on 17 July 1998 by the United Nations Diplomatic Conference of Plenipotentiaries on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court.
With regard to article 87, paragraph 1, of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, the Principality of Andorra declares that all requests for cooperation made by the Court under part IX of the Statute must be transmitted through the diplomatic channel.
In relation to article 87, paragraph 1, of the Statute, the Kingdom of Spain declares that, without prejudice to the fields of competence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice shall be the competent authority to transmit requests for cooperation made by the Court or addressed to the Court.

The President shall represent the State of Lithuania and shall perform all the duties which he or she is charged with by the Constitution and laws.
Citizens of the Republic of Lithuania who have an impeccable reputation, who are trained in law and who have served, for at least 10 years, in the legal profession or in an area of education related to his or her qualifications as a lawyer, shall be eligible for appointment as judges of the Constitutional Court.
